Most of us want to be healthy without sacrificing having a good time. I've tried more fad diets than I can count without ever sacrificing alcohol. You can, however pack on the pounds if you over-do-it with both alcohol and food. For many people, alcohol stimulates the appetite causing them to overeat and make poor dietary choices. For me, it has the opposite effect and tends to make me feel full and decreases my appetite. My problem is the next morning when I want to nosh on all things fat and grease to satisfy my stomach.
