I've included essential oils in my skin care routine for a few years now and I swear by them! Not only do they work but they leave your skin feeling amazing. My current go-to essential oils for my face are almond oil and jojoba oil. I'm so happy with the results I've seen with those two that I'm intrigued to try more. It's pretty crazy how many essential oils are out there that provide different anti-aging benefits. Why wouldn't you want to add these essential oils into your regimen instead of using creams and serums with chemicals?

Check out these top 10 essential oils that will help turn back the clock and improve the quality and tone of your skin.

1.  Jojoba Oil

There is a ton of evidence that support jojoba oil as a remedy for dry skin and acne. It's an excellent carrier oil to use with other essentials. Carrier oils are needed if you're using an oil that is known to be too potent or harsh. The carrier oil helps "carry" the essential oil to your skin irritating or drying out your skin. My skin is on the dry side of the spectrum so Jojoba is a Godsend for me.

After I put on my moisturizer I apply Jojoba oil to help lock it in . I swear every time I apply it my skin feels immediately nourished and supple. I use this oil on my face after I apply retinol.

2. Almond Oil

Almond oil is also my go-to carrier oil for my face. I switch it up between this and Jojoba monthly. It reduces puffiness which is a big problem for me in the morning. It can also minimize the appearance of acne scars, stretch marks and sun-related skin damage.

3. Lemon

If you don't already know, vitamin C is a power ingredient for combating aging from the inside out. I make sure all of my products from serums to moisturizers and oils contain vitamin C. Studies have shown that lemon oil can prevent sun damage which causes wrinkles. It's also a great clarifier and can kill bacteria that causes acne breakouts.

4. Sandalwood
