Imagine a long-lasting non-invasive procedure that can give you a youthful glow and make you look years younger. Facial and plastic reconstructive surgeon Dr. Dara Liotta has come up with a new facial contouring procedure called LitLift. She was inspired by the overwhelming popularity of strobing and contouring via makeup. LitLift uses a combination of botox and other dermal fillers with results lasting up to two years. Most botox and dermal filler procedures only last between 4-6 months.
The Procedure
Dr. Liotta focuses on the prime areas of the face that you would use to highlight and contour with makeup such as the browbones, forehead, center of the nose, cheekbones, cupids bow, and chin. Don't worry, you don't have to have all areas done, just the ones you're concerned about. LitLift is customizable based on your face and needs. Here are the products Dr. Liotta uses in the specific areas of the face:
Forehead - Botox cosmetic
Eyebrows - Botox cosmetic that is strategically placed around the forehead to provide a natural lift.
Cheekbones - Juvederm Voluma XC (check out my previous post on my results with pictures of Juvederm XC found HERE).
Cupid's Bow - Juvederm Vollure XC
Chin - Botox cosmetic
Dr. Liotta told InStyle "The idea of putting it all together has recently synthesized. I’ve done it on patients since then who are really excited about it. It’s going to become one of the most popular things I do," she explains.
The LitLift sounds like an exciting new procedure that will enhance your natural features and keep you looking "lit" for years. You'll never have to use FaceTune or filters again.
