It's important to cleanse our liver from time to time with healthy herbs, fruits, and vegetables. These juice recipes will help naturally cleanse your liver and help its detox function and protect against oxidative stress. 

Liver Cleansing Beet Juice

Beets are one of the best vegetables you can eat to cleanse the liver and blood. They quickly help break down toxins and boost enzymatic activity. They are rich in vitamin C, potassium, iron, and fiber. They reduce blood pressure, treat inflammation, detoxify the liver, and improve blood flow.

There are only 5 ingredients that you will need:

* Raw beets

* Organic apples

* Fresh lemon

* Organic parsley

* Fresh peeled ginger


How To Make It

I use 1 beet, 1 apple, the juice of 1 lemon, 1/3 cup of parsley, and 1 tablespoon of ginger. 

1. Place all of the ingredients in a juicer or blender and blend until smooth. 

2. Pour over ice if desired and enjoy!


Apple Cider Vinegar Liver Cleanse

Not only can apple cider vinegar speed up the detoxification process of the liver, it is also used as a diet aid to help suppress the appetite. 

How To Make It

1. In the morning upon waking, mix 2 teaspoons of organic apple cider vinegar in 8 ounces of water and drink. You can add 1 teaspoon of honey if you can't stomach the taste. 

2. Wait one hour and then eat organic fresh fruit and vegetables for breakfast.

3. Drink another apple cider vinegar concoction as in step 1 prior to lunch. 

4. Eat a large salad packed with vegetables and use olive oil or balsamic vinaigrette for your dressing.

5. Drink your apple cider vinegar drink again before dinner.

6. For dinner, stick with whole-grain pasta and again, organic fruit and vegetables. 

 

Liver Purifier Detox Juice

This recipe is an excellent way to get in more vegetables besides just beets while gently detoxifying your liver at the same time.

Ingredients:

1/2 beet

3 celery stalks

2 carrots

1/2 cucumber

2 stalks of swiss chard or 1 handful of spinach

1 handful of dandelion roots or parsley

Juice from 1 medium lemon


How To Make It

1. Place all of the ingredients (except the lemon juice) in a blender or juicer and blend until smooth. 

2. Squeeze in the lemon juice and stir. Pour into a glass and serve!
