SkinCeuticals Honest Product Review

I've tried SkinCeuticals years ago when I was in my 20's. I heard about it when I was 17 years old working as a receptionist at a beauty salon in 1998. We carried the product CE Ferulic Acid, and back then it was $80 for a little bottle only 1 fluid oz. Due to the low demand and price, we only carried two bottles at a time. Working there for two years, there was one lady that would come in and buy the CE Ferulic Acid regularly. Sometimes she would buy two bottles at a time. We started to build a rapport, so one day I had to ask her what's so great about this bottle? She asked me "how old do you think I am?" I felt uncomfortable because you never want to age someone. So I made an honest guess and said 45? She replied I'm 65 and I was stunned. Being 17, I was too young to spend $80 on an anti-aging serum, but it the product always stuck in my mind. Now that I'm 40, I pulled the trigger and spent the now $166 on the serum and won't go back. Yes the price is hefty but it lasts a few months and is totally worth it. I'll be honest, I used to get Botox once every 6 months. However, since using the CE Ferulic Acid, I've only had to go once every 18 months. I love this product and highly recommend it. I have no affiliation with SkinCeuticals and am not getting paid for this post (just wanted to throw that out there). Here's the scoop on the SkinCeuticals products that I've used this past year.

CE Ferulic Acid

This is a daytime vitamin C serum provides advanced environmental protection and improves the appearance of loss of firmness, wrinkles, fine lines, and brightens the skin's complexion. It's clinically proven to reduce combined oxidative damage from free radicals caused by the Ozone, UV, and diesel exhaust by up to 41%.

Hyaluronic Acid Intensifier (H.A)

I think we all know about hyaluronic acid by now. This product goes on very smooth and I love the way it feels. However, at $100 per 1 oz bottle, I think I'm going to try the L'Oreal Hyaluronic Acid next time at $25 a bottle. Afterall, SkinCeuticals is a brand under L'Oreal.

Resveratrol B E

By far the best feeling products I've probably ever used in my life. I use this at nigh time before my Roc Retinol cream. Resveratrol is an antioxidant-rich polyphenol that reduces redness and visibly plumps the skin.

A.G.E Interrupter

Lastly, I use this as my daily moisturizer. Even though it's $162 a jar, a little goes a long way. I can stretch this out probably 3-4 months. I would buy this product again, but due to the price, I'm going to try the L'Oreal Revitalift Triple Power Anti-Aging Moisturizer for $25. I just want to see if I notice a difference or not.

For this skincare regimen I spent a total of around $630 which is not something I can do every 3-4 months. As you can see, there are products from SkinCeuticals I can't live without and some that I will see if I can. For now, I'm going to stick to the CE Ferulic Acid and the Resveratrol B E.
